Bosco and Michael Update.

Hi All, I know it has been a while since my last post. Well the latest is about the same, Bosco is still undergoing his regular twice a week therapy every other week. He is doing Much better thanks to all of you, Michael and our family can not thank you all enough!

You really truly have save the life of one of our family members, like you that is how we see Bosco as one of our family members. One thing I have gotten a lot of email about is why is everything about Bosco, what about Michael?

Well that is really easy to explain. Michael like many in my family is kind of selfless he cares more about the people around him then he does about himself. When he was laying in the Hospital that dreadful night after just being shot, the only thing he kept asking is” where is Bosco?” “How is Bosco?” Knowing that I am a web designer as well as a former Police officer myself, I knew somewhat of how he felt.

Along with other members of the family I decided to make this site, to try and save Bosco, you see saving Bosco was the only think Michael wanted, He did not want a medal, even though they gave him one, He did not want his face up in lights and community recognition for putting his life on the line for everyone, with a lot of people calling him a local hero, even though that happened. The only thing Michael wanted is to go back to his life with the ones he knew and loved with him. And that is what we set out to do, even though it did not go back to the way it was the way it is now, is much better than it could have turned out.

As for Michael he is back to work protecting the Zanesville Community with his new partner Tino. Bosco is still living with his family and getting better everyday, thanks to  you.

So to all of you who heard the call and answered, We thank you!  and to all of you who wrote letters, cards, and emails, We thank you! And to all of you who asked “what about Michael?”, We thank you! and we hope you understand that what (We) bucksforbosco.com did what we did for Michael as well as Bosco.

I wish I could meet everyone of you, who helped us in our time of need, and thank you personally. I want you to know the support you gave us, will never be forgotten. As a result of what transpired that night, you were able to save Bosco’s life and raise awareness about the Zanesville Police Department K-9 Unit.

If you would like to help us make sure our K-9 Officers are protected, while they are out there protecting you and I. Please consider continuing your support of the Zanesville Police Department K-9 fund. You can donate via this site or by mailing or dropping off a donation of any amount to the Zanesville Police Department K-9 Unit.

Way to go North Valley Bank

North Valley Bank held an internal raffle recently in support of Bosco. The prize was two Safari Transport Passes to the Wilds in Cumberland, Ohio. All proceeds will be donated to Bucks for Bosco. Plans are being made to have additional fundraisers in the near future.

North Valley Bank was established in 1904 as The Bank of Corning Company. In 1998 the company officially became North Valley Bank. Today, North Valley offers three locations in Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan Counties.

Despite the changes and growth the bank has experienced, the founding principles still remain. North Valley Bank continues to be a locally owned, community-oriented bank dedicated to their customers.
